In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD, December 2018), we inform you as follows:

2. Purpose of data processing

The data you provide is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry or request for information about our educational services (Roots & Wings, after-school Extracurricular Classes, Summer School and Pro Phonics workshops), managing enrolments, and maintaining communications related to the academy's activity.

In accordance with the GDPR, we keep a record of processing activities which specifies, according to their purposes, the processing carried out and the other circumstances established in the Regulation.

Personal information will not be used for purposes other than those related to the services requested or products acquired. No automated decisions will be taken based on such a profile.

3. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing is:

  • Consent given by the User through acceptance of this Policy and the corresponding checkbox on the form.
  • The User has provided personal data in the context of a contractual or pre-contractual relationship for the handling of the request, with processing being necessary for the maintenance of that relationship.
  • Legal obligations applicable to Ella's English that require the processing of personal data in accordance with the services provided (including, among others, tax and accounting matters).

The User may withdraw consent for the processing of their personal data at any time. Under no circumstances does the withdrawal of these consents condition the provision of the service or the execution of contracts with Ella's English.

4. Personal data processed and origin

The personal data we process is provided by the User through emails, contact-form submissions or other functionality offered on the site.

Use of the contact sections and completion of forms is voluntary. However, completing certain fields is necessary to correctly attend to and manage the request.

The User warrants that the data provided is truthful, accurate and complete. Data will be cancelled, deleted or blocked when found to be inaccurate, incomplete or no longer necessary.

5. Retention periods

Personal data provided by the User will be retained for as long as the User remains registered for the service, while the business relationship continues, until the User requests deletion, or for the legally established period.

If the User withdraws consent or exercises the rights of objection or deletion, their data will be kept blocked at the disposal of the administration of justice for the legally established periods.

6. Confidentiality and security

Ella's English undertakes to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures, in line with the level of security appropriate to the risk of the data collected.

Personal data will be treated as confidential by the data controller.

7. Data transfers and recipients

Data will not be communicated to third parties, except in the cases established by law or where necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing. The contact form is submitted via Web3Forms (a form-processing provider) solely to deliver your message to us; it is not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

If the User accepts analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) is used with IP anonymisation to measure aggregate use of the site. Google may transfer this data to servers outside the European Economic Area under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie notice or by clearing cookies from your browser.

8. User rights

Your rights when you provide us with your data:

  • The right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your data.
  • The right to access, rectify or delete inaccurate data.
  • The right to restrict processing in certain cases.
  • The right to data portability, where legally applicable.
